This Privacy Policy describes how IdeaFactory ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with NutriFacts Max, an Adobe Illustrator plugin.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

NutriFacts Max is a locally-installed plugin. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

• Nutrition data or product information you enter into the plugin
• Files, documents, or artwork from your computer
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Personal identifiable information beyond what is required for license activation

2. License Activation

When you activate your license, NutriFacts Max communicates with Lemon Squeezy (our payment and licensing provider) to validate your license key. This process involves:

• Your license key
• A machine identifier (hostname and OS platform) used to track activations

This data is processed by Lemon Squeezy in accordance with their Privacy Policy. We do not store your machine data on our own servers.

3. AI Scan Feature

The AI Scan feature is optional and requires your own API key from Anthropic or OpenAI. When you use AI Scan:

• Image data is sent directly from your machine to Anthropic or OpenAI servers
• We do not intermediate, store, or have access to this data
• Your use of this feature is governed by the privacy policies of your chosen AI provider

4. Payment Information

All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. We do not receive or store your credit card or banking information.

5. Website

Our website (ideafactory.digital) may use standard web analytics tools to understand traffic and improve content. No personally identifiable information is collected through these tools.

6. Third-Party Services

NutriFacts Max integrates with the following third-party services under user direction:

• Lemon Squeezy — license validation and payment processing
• Anthropic / OpenAI — AI Scan feature (optional, BYO API key)
• Google Sheets — bulk import via published sheet URL (optional)

7. Data Security

All data handled by the plugin remains on your local machine. License validation uses encrypted HTTPS connections. We do not operate any servers that store your personal or product data.

8. Children's Privacy

NutriFacts Max is a professional tool not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the plugin after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
